Agricultural Veterinary International (AgriVet) is a Canadian consulting group which continues the work begun by Dr. Hussein Dehab in Yugoslavia in the early 1980s. We are dedicated to enhancing the agriculture of developing and emerging nations and to the preservation of endangered farm animals from developed nations.
As industrialized agricultural practices grow, and mono culture practices are expanded, our food supplies become more endangered each year. One disease, in just one plant or animal, could result in a worldwide famine and the loss of millions of lives.
Industrialized agricultural practices are reducing gene pools to below critical levels. Worldwide more than 1000 farm animal species become extinct every year.
Our focus is the preservation of these gene pools for future generations by transferring those gene pools while enhancing the agriculture in emerging nations.
